19 Months

Hi Leif - this month you are 19 months old.

According to the development charts over at babycenter you are doing fantastic. You can use a spoon and fork, drink from a cup, and have over 50 words. Your other talents include walking backwards and knowing all your colors.

Now that you are an official toddler we've had some issues...biting has come and gone (we hope, hope) and in the middle of the night you need JUICE! no, MILK! no, WATER!

Speaking of speaking, your pronunciation is all your own.

Diaper Free is really starting to pay off - we've moved to underwear and lots of peeing in the lawn.

For some reason, the last couple of days have been difficult sleep-wise. You don't want to nap and your bedtime seems to be getting later and later. I'm thinking you might be ready for no afternoon nap, or a truncated version of your normal nap, but something is due for a change. The last couple of months have just been too easy in terms of sleep, must be time for another wrench to be thrown in!
