health update
So the saga...doesn't really continue?
We had the first Dr's appointment for Leif since he was about 13 months old (he is now 19!!! months). He is the same.
19 months
18.5 pounds
30.5 inches long
Still skinny, still short, still teeny tiny itsy bitsy. Still the size of your average 7 month old. We need to go have his kidneys and bone scans run again when he is 2, but for the most part the Dr's and we feel pretty good about everything. He exudes healthy toddler, and besides being minature there is nothing obviously wrong. The doctor even teased me today, saying I could go around passing Leif off as the most advanced 9 month old on the planet.
This doesn't mean we don't worry, but it feels good to have simple goals and milestones.

Yay! I'm glad to hear that everyone's decided that Leif's doing well.
And, if you think about it, this means that Leif and Darwin are the same size. Crazy!
I can't wait to see you all on the 4th! Sounds like Leif has grown and changed so much since our last visit!
Perhaps his size will always be a mystery - he will just grow at his own pace.
