56 Years! Do the Hokey Pokey.
Today is Leif's Nana & Papa's 56th wedding anniversary! We tried to get Leif on video with some congratulations, but the conversation went like this:
"Leif, say Nana & Papa!"
"Mama, Dada, Papa, Dada, BullDozer, Mama, Shovel!"
"Okay, well, can you do the Hokey Pokey instead?"

That is, quite literally, the cutest thing I have ever seen in my life. He's so willfull and amazing!
He's actually further ahead than outwardly apparent. His response to "Nana and Papa" is "Mama and Dada."
He understands that their roles are analogous. He picked up that you were referring to them with the names he would use, so we continued the swapping and referred to them as you would.
Nice moves, too.
