Leif is 8 weeks old tomorrow and today we had a major milestone - his first independant nap! After eating and pottying, he was double wrapped in some snuggly blankets and placed in his new bed, a cat bed. We've found that as long as he can see us close up, it is as good as being held. He also likes to sleep on his side (changes everything!)...this is the first time he has ever 1) fallen asleep without being held, bounced, walked, or driven. 2) He stayed asleep for a whole hour! Major progress from the 10 minutes or so that he has done on his own before.

Who knows if this will be a trend or not, but no matter what it was total heaven for us all.
